3 Weeks Old
I can't believe how big Connor is getting. He's going to be a month before we know it, and then he's going to be a year.... so on and so forth. We love having him in our lives. He's such a funny little boy, and the things that he does each day amazes us. He's getting so strong, I'm already afraid to leave him on the couch, scared that he might roll off of it. He's not rolling over yet, but he sure moves around a LOT and one day he's going to surprise us all! He's more alert and awake now. He loves just looking around and watching everything and everyone. He's still such a good baby. Hardly ever cries or fusses. Only sometimes when he's hungry, and EVERY diaper change and bath. He HATES being naked, but loves being clothed and warm. Here are some pictures of 3 week old Connor :-)

Silly little boy
When Connor sleeps, he loves being swaddled in a blanket. He won't sleep for more than 10 minutes if he's unwrapped. But, he always pulls his right arm out of the blanket. He LOVES having his hand by his face. Even from when he was in me (see the ultrasound pictures) he ALWAYS has his hands in his face. It's funny, because I wrap him pretty tight in the blanket, and somehow he gets his arm out. And he doesn't care about his left arm... ONLY his right. Strange little boy!
BEFORE....
AFTER...
Sunbathing
Connor's jaundice still hasn't disappeared. His levels are still much higher than they should be at his age. His pediatrician said that it's probably that he has Breast Milk Jaundice and that it might take a month or so to get rid of. My poor baby boy. So... we just keep him in the sun as much as we can. It's hard to go outside because it's VERY VERY windy in Beaumont, ALL the time... so we just open the blinds and lay him on our bed. He seems to enjoy it :-)

Happy 25th Birthday, Emily
My 25th Birthday - January 31, 2009
Connor's First Outing
My handsome boy, all dressed up to go to a friends baptism. Of course we had to change his clothes once we got there because his diaper leaked all over him :-) Even premie diapers are too big.
Jaundice
Connor had jaundice when he was born, as do most babies that are early. But his levels didn't seem to be going down, and he was having trouble eating because he was lethargic and such. So, his pediatrician wanted him under a biliblanket (a blanket/wrap thing that lights up, to break down and get rid of the bilirubin) for 24 hours (which then turned into 48 hours), and then his levels started going down.
